The Kitchen (Before and After)

So, it might seem like all we have done these past week is watch the Rangers, but we have done more than that! I finally have my kitchen completed!!!! It has been a long, and grulling process, but i am so thrilled with how it has turned out. And I cant belive how I have missed cooking! It has been so refreshing to make a meal for Caleb and I. And for once, after 7 months of eating out, I feel refreshed after eating dinner. If you are excited for me, post a new recipe that I need to try :). YAY for my kitchen!!!

As I did with my bathroom, here is a list of everything we did in the kitchen:

Removed linoleum flooring
Removed popcorn ceiling
Removed paneling
Removed Cabinets
Re-textured walls
Painted walls
Stained all cabinets
Put in a new vent hood
New appliances
Installed new tile flooring
New windows
New baseboards, and crown molding (pending)
New hardware
New sink
New Counter top (Granite :))
New backsplash (Glass/stone tile :))

And here are the after pics:

The Clincher

Caleb has been ecstatic these last few weeks, for many reasons, but one in particular is the Rangers making it to the World Series. A friend has invited him to a bunch of the games. This last game, the clincher, I got to go too!! It was a ton of fun to be there at the game the Rangers clinched the ALCS title and a trip to the World Series. Here is a pic during the game and afterward.

A while ago, Britt came to visit me and we went to a Ranger game. Since I have been carrying my camera with me, i got a pic. It is SO FUN to live SO CLOSE to my siblings :).

Happy Birthday Esther!

I am so blessed to have such great nieces. I would especially like to dote on Esther Mai Luu since it was her third birthday last Sunday. I cant believe it has been three years since she was born! It seems just like yesterday. I have had such a privilege to watch her grow up. I cant tell you how much I love her! She is so smart! Brittany came to her birthday party and was blown away by how intelligent she is (and that says a lot because Britt is an elementary school teacher!).

It was so precious to watch and play with Esther and Eden last weekend. I walked in the house to see them for the first time and Esther runs up to me, gives me a big hug, grabs my face with both hands, and says "Aunt Bre, my babies are sleeping..." LOL! She was so serious. She then showed me her baby dolls that were laying down for a nap. How fun!

Well, here are some of the pictures from the weekend.

On their way out of town, Josephine and the girls stopped by work and visited me so I could show them off!! Esther had a blast running around Frog Fountain! I cant wait for Josephine to send me the picture of us three but until then here is Esther running :).
